Optimize Your Website for the Best Adsense Income

You can make a nice income with Google Adsense and there are a lot of people out there who have blogs and websites not making any money, simply because they have not added any monetization to it. Jut by placing some Adsense ads on your current blog or website can start earning you an income quite fast.

However, some people do have Adsense ads on their website or blogs but still struggle to earn money with their ads, while other people are earning a lot of money with it.

So why do some people fail while others succeed?

Often the main difference between failure and success with Google Adsense is how you have your website set up. Those who are successful usually have their website optimized for the best results.

It is important to put in the effort to set up your website correctly because this time and effort at the beginning can make a huge difference to your income. Just a few tweaks with your ads and your website can increase your income quite drastically.

Ad Blog Size

The size of ads that you use can make a difference. Research has shown that the Large Rectangle and the Medium Rectangle seem to perform the best. These blocks are quite large and can take up a lot of space on your page, but they have proven to be most successful. So if you are aiming for a good income, then why not try one of these ad block sizes that have proven to work well.

Placement of Ads

Quite a lot of visitors to your site might not even stay on the site long enough to scroll down the page, so the area at the top of the page that you can see without scrolling down (above the fold) is the area that will get most views. So place your main Adsense ad in this area so that it can be seen by your visitors. There is no point having ads stuck down the bottom of the page where people won’t see them or click on them.

Color of Ads

Believe it or not, the color of your ads can make a difference. If your ads are very ‘obvious’ as being ads, then they might not get as many clicks. If you blend your ads into your website then they don’t stand out so much and you will probably receive more clicks on them. So try using the same colors for your ads as you have on your website and see if that makes a difference.

Use Relevant Keywords
It is also important to use relevant keywords relating to your niche throughout your content. The type of ad that Google places on your site will depend on the keywords used throughout the content, so if you want ads relevant to your site then have good content that is relevant to your niche.

Conclusion

It really is worth spending this bit of time at the beginning to set your site up and optimize it for the best results. So if you aren’t earning as much money as you would like from your Adsense ads, then tweak your site and your ads a little and see if you can improve your income.
